Sam, Ann, Kevin and Ashley Kevin Stickford is usually seen around the kennels cleaning or working with our four-legged guests, two of his favorite activities. He is frequently moving fast as he does a lot of work in each day: you may see a police car out front of the kennel because his "main" job is a canine officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department; he does landscaping as well. Ann is a "jack-of-all-trades" at the kennels; when you find her sitting (rarely and not for long!) there is probably a small dog on her lap. Before opening the kennels, Ann was a volunteer for a local rescue group and earned her grooming certificate in whatever extra time was not spent on career and family. Samantha, Kyle, Linda and Dawn Samantha came to us highly recommended by a local vet's office where she was previously employed. She is a "do-it-all" employee who has worked both in the office and back room. Sam is a lover of all animals... you might see her two pugs, Gracie and Hope, visiting the kennels. Kyle is Samantha's brother (though most folks think he's our son) and has worked at the kennels for nearly 2 years. He is valued for his excellent interaction with our guests, settling them in runs and playing with them during play time. He's around more in the summer months due to academic and sports commitments during the school year. A client-turned-employee, Linda works in the office and helps with special projects. Our small guests love to sit on her lap as she does paper work; her two four-legged children, Annie and Petie, love to visit the kennels as well! Dawn, also a client-turned-employee, is the newest member of our staff. She is a volunteer with a local rescue group and has three children and four pets. She is learning all aspects of the kennels and plans to be with us for a long time.

After school and sports, Ashley finds time to help in the kennels, usually with a small dog on her lap and working on the computer. While many think the other gals on staff are our daughters, this is the real one.
Lauren
Rarely seen at the kennels due to his participation in school and sports, Sam Reed occasionally helps with dishes and computer work. |
